Womb Whispers with Lisa Jara.

Today I want to draw your attention to something that is finally getting a little more of the recognition it deserves, especially since at least 10% of women and people who bleed experience it: Endometriosis. Sometimes mistaken for โ€œa painful bleedโ€, endometriosis is actually a condition where tissue similar but not identical to the endometrial lining of the uterus that we shed every bleed, grows outside of it (e.g. outside of the uterus, around the fallopian tubes, the ovaries, but also the intestines, lungs or scar tissue anywhere in the body). Unfortunately, many receive their diagnosis very, very late, complemented by the message โ€œYouโ€™re infertile and incurable! Get a hysterectomy โ€ฆโ€ which is insensitive and not the answer! My guest, womenโ€™s pelvic health specialist Amy Louise Connor, and I speak about how healing is possible when we know how to access the wisdom that lives inside of our body.
